SEATTLE FLAVOR

Every time we go to back to Seattle, I remember how much I love it. I'm also always taken a little bit aback by how quickly this city is growing. It seems there is always another building or two that just appeared out of nowhere, and a handful of amazing new restaurants to try.

Since we were there for Thanksgiving, we didn't eat out as much as we usually do, but one place we went that I absolutely loved, was Eden Hill - a brand new restaurant in one of my favorite neighborhoods, Queen Anne. No joke, this might have been one of the best brunches I've ever had - I got the Cauliflower Chilaquiles (sans creama), which was heaven with every bite, ending in a wave of depression after the last. Luckily, I consoled myself by stealing half of my sister's huckleberry-drenched French Toast.. If you know me, you'll know that I firmly believe that a restaurant's decor should match the sumptuousness of the food served, and Eden Hill did not disappoint! One note to self, however. Next visit here, I'll be sure to wear something with a little more give around the waist...
