OLD FRIENDS

Sometimes, it comes down to introducing favorite pieces to other favorite pieces and hoping they get along. And usually, I find that they get along seamlessly, like old friends. This outfit is mostly comprised of items I know are foolproof, so even though I've never worn them together, when I pull them out of my suitcase (as I basically live out of one these days), I know they'll work perfectly well. Toss on a few new favorite accessories, and I'm done!

I've definitely got the hang out of living out of a suitcase - although I'm also pretty excited that we now have a closet at Cactus Mountain. Kind of a game changer. And after going without certain essentials for so long, the simplest of things become a total luxury!
