Ladylike

I'm currently writing this post while enjoying the exact opposite type of weather from when I wore this look last week. It's funny how much a difference a drive down the coast can make - and it's also one of the reasons why I love California so much! I've lived so many places in the last 8 years or so, but no matter what, I always seem to end up back in San Francisco. There's really nothing like it (although at the moment, Nikko and I are all caught up in fantasizing about the homestead life. It is eerily quiet out here, and I'm kind of loving it.)

I love that the print of this coat is a more refined rendition of plaid than its summer counterpart. I've been flirting with ladylike accents - but always with a twist. Pearls with extra hardware, delicate earrings but lots of them, and a coat that could have been overtly feminine, but somehow finds itself with a masculine touch, tempered by leather pants, of course. Because they fix everything.

xx,

Tienlyn
