CLEANING UP

I've talked a bit about how this last year hasn't exactly been the healthiest, both in how well I've felt and in how well I've taken care of myself. But over the last few weeks, I've been slow, conscious changes to help get me back on track in a way that doesn't overwhelm me, considering everything else that is going on.

One thing I've been doing is upping my supplement intake. I've always taken Probiotics (more on this after Italy), but considering how far I have to go until I feel like myself again, I knew I would need more. Enter: Hum Nutrition's world of amazingness, targeting almost any beauty concern from the inside out.

I started with a cocktail of Daily Cleanse (to kick out all the bad stuff I've been doing to my body over the last year, ie processed foods etc), Uber Energy (because I just don't have as much as I did before this year), and Red Carpet (because I've got a wedding to go to!).

To say I have direct before and after results that are targeted and measured would be stretching the truth - but what I can tell you is that my skin has been ridiculously clear without my changing anything in my skincare routine, and I suddenly do not have a need for coffee in the morning (that was a very unexpected side effect that I'm loving). And while I'm still fighting a crippling nausea that hits me frequently and randomly (no, I'm not pregnant) that I am currently trying to figure with my doc, I do feel lighter and and clearer (for lack of a better explanation).

The coolest thing about Hum, in my opinion, is how many products they have for specific things. I'm looking forward to trying a few more, like their Flatter Me, Air Patrol, and Base Control. Oh, and Big Chill!

If there's one thing I've really learned, is that supplements truly work - it's all a matter of finding the ones that work best for you.
