We spent a good part of last weekend nestled away in Half Moon Bay enjoying the coastal life the way it's meant to be enjoyed. To us, this means long dinners with crazy views, scenic sunsets while cuddled up around a fire, intentionally getting lost, and lots of beach time.  I packed lightly - first of all because I didn't actually think we were going to stay as long as we did, but also because it's easy to let go of little details in exchange for the big picture. This dress was a staple - something outside my normal city style and totally liberating to wear. Not only is it perfect for barefoot beach meandering, but it's also ideal for tossing over a swimsuit, not to mention just as easy to whip off at the first glimpse of water.
