What a heatwave we've been having! I'm used to high desert temps in the summer at this point, but lately, the weather has been an entirely different beast. Luckily, that's an easy fix in my book, requiring more pool time, more summer nights spent outdoors, and more ice-cold pitaya bowls.

We're spending this week on a little staycation in Palm Springs and I've been eating my way through the entire place. I didn't pack much more than shorts and flirty summer dresses, but this denim skirt has definitely been on repeat.

I love that I can wear it with virtually anything from a bikini top to a button up and it looks sleek and summery. And when it's too hot for white jeans, a skirt is the perfect replacement!
