THE FRINGE EFFECT

I don't mean to consistently add more fringe to my wardrobe, but somehow, it seems to find its way into my closet on its own accord. Not that I'm complaining. But one thing that I've really learned about moving around so much in the last 10 years is that whether intended it or not, my surroundings really do have an impact on my style. While I would say my base style is a mix of sophisticated minimalism and casual tailoring, the more time we spend in the desert, the more I've begun to adopt a slightly western, boho luxe flair.

I've also started to incorporate more and more unique, high quality brands into my repertoire, especially ones that are doing things in a thoughtful way. From Rachel Comey to Reve En Vert, and definitely Onna Ehrlich (whose bags are such incredible quality - I'll leave it at that because I could gush for hours), I've found that I'm more and more inspired behind the story and approach to creating something beautiful, and not just the end result (although that's obviously a huge part of it too).

I've been toying with the idea of delving deeper into the stories behind the brands I love and respect - because in this day in age, the people that dedicate themselves to creating quality products have such incredible stories to tell. Out of curiosity, is this something you would be interested in learning more about yourself? And any brands or people you'd love to hear from? Let me know!

xx,

Tienlyn
