WEDDING PLANNING WITH MINTED.COM

Considering Nikko and I eloped (with blessings) to Vegas nearly 10 years ago, my wedding planning experience had been somewhat limited until my sister got engaged a few months ago. However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t taken my Maid of Honor duties incredibly seriously (maybe too seriously sometimes… not randomly wedding obsessed all of a sudden or anything…).

Luckily, I was fortunate enough to team up with Minted.com to make a good part of the wedding planning a total breeze - from the invitations, to a website, to planning all the celebrations before the big day.

After going through a slew of gorgeous, artist-created invitation designs, sis and I narrowed it down to two, at which point, we figured we should probably see them in person.

We ordered samples (super easy to do), which was super helpful in picking the final design.  Each of the samples came with all customization options on the back.

While the Someone Like You collection was a little more my speed, Love Connection fit my sister and her fiancé's style perfectly. Pared back and clean, but with a touch of playfulness - and inherently sweet.

And once we saw the back of the card, with that ADORABLE photo of them on it (shot by my girl Kelsey Bollig), we knew it was the one.

Even the front of the envelope was thoughtfully designed! In fact, we had such a great experience picking the invites, that we decided to do the entire wedding website on Minted.com too!

And not only that, but I decided to take advantage of the free online invites (free now through March 31st only) to put together a little something for my sister's bachelorette. I printed it out so you can get an idea of what it looks like:

How cute is my sis with her huge baby head in the sand, by the way? Now that all the invites are sorted, guess I should go ahead and buy those Italy tickets, no?

xx,

Tienlyn
