Our favorite thing to do whenever we go to Hawaii, or anywhere with the ocean for that matter, is to take long walks on the beach. We always laugh about that, because we might be one of the only couples I know that actually do this cliché IRL. And when I mean long walks, I mean loooong walks. It's one of our favorite ways to keep in shape on vacation, and once you hit about the 4 mile mark, it really does become a serious workout. It's pretty ideal, actually. Fighting against the sand and the waves really provides a great workout for your legs, you get tan, and when you get too hot, the water is right there, waiting to cool you off.
Some of my favorite conversations with Nikko have happened walking on beaches all over the world, and it's one of the things I always look forward to the most when it comes to traveling somewhere warm.
