My favorite thing about spring in the desert (besides the fact that it starts mid January weather-wise) is the back to back variety of activities that take over Coachella Valley and the high desert, starting with the Palm Springs International Film Festival Jan 2nd, followed by Modernism Week, the BNP Open, El Paseo Fashion Week (which many do not realize is the biggest consumer show on the west coast), the Super Bloom, music festivals all kinds, Desert X, etc etc - and all back to back with some overlapping.

Add in visits with friends, family, and meeting new people, Nikko's footgolf tournaments (including the US open), not to mention several new projects (SOOO excited to share about these in the next few weeks!!)  and living in a renovation (we've got 7 days to replace the ceiling in our bathroom and get the master fully functional before my parents stay in there... eep!!), and it's one seriously busy time. Luckily, this weather reinvigorates like nothing else and while I do find myself daydreaming and making lists for things that I'm looking forward to catching up on in the slower months of summer (for instance, finally putting my actual writing together in a cohesive way).

I know we're a little extra lucky with this amazing weather, but has anyone else caught Spring Fever yet? And happy almost Lunar New Year, btw!!

xx,

Tienlyn

P.S. if you jump to the last image, you'll see my trick for wearing fine jewelry while working with my hands - check my Feb Insta stories for a video on how to use this gorgeous necklace to securely hold your delicate rings while you use your hands - fully game changing..
