Have you guys heard of the lampshade trend? It's where you basically mimic the silhouette of a lampshade - loose and flowing on the top, and slim and narrow on your bottom half. Well I like to think of this look as a triple lampshade. Loose and flowing on the top, slimming out and then extending to loose and flowing around the ankles.
While the triple lampshade is not exactly a thing, it's something I've been relying on quite a bit lately. I've fallen completely in love with flares and all the silhouettes you can make with them. There's a deconstructed structural freedom that has come along with flares this time around that wasn't there before, making them one of the most key wardrobe pieces of the moment. So consider this rant my justification for why you'll be seeing these pop up a lot in the next while!
