There are a million places in California that are breathtakingly beautiful, but few that are as surreal as Joshua Tree. The vegetation, the quiet heat and the illuminated, perfect skies make it one of those places that I can visit time after time and never grow tired of.
This was shot right before we witnessed one of the most gorgeous sunsets, after we had driven deep into the park and there wasn't a single soul in sight. It felt good to return to summer staples, even if just for a minute - and this time of year is so perfect for Joshua Tree visits, as the heat is fully present, but not quite melting status. I have a feeling we'll be back sooner rather than later. #addicted
