One of my favorite things to do is to talk beauty with friends. Our conversations aren't exactly the same type of content that I usually post here, but we share so much information that I thought it might be cool to start a series to share what I'm currently using in my everyday beauty routine and why I love them.
See below for what products I'm currently using, what I'm using them for, and why I love them (or why I don't).
This is one of those products you look forward to applying - not just because it feels super luxurious when you apply it, but also because you know what it's going to do for you. I tend to hyper-pigment in certain areas - especially around the eyes (thanks mom) and this serum works super well to help fade my hyper-pigmentation - it also has helped with fine lines and wrinkles and protects from free radicals. It's the first thing I apply after washing my face in the morning and one of the things I look forward to almost as much as coffee... If you're looking for a product that does any of the below, this one seriously works.
FIGHTS: Fine lines and wrinkles / Pigmentation and discoloration / Free Radicals
BOOSTS: Overall smoother complexion / A radiant glow
I'm a detox junkie (oxymoron right there) and I love that this scrub exfoliates in more than one way. Physically, it feels like a true, gentle scrub. But it also has salicylic acid to help exfoliate and tighten your pores - which is why I like to gently scrub for about 1-2 minutes before washing off. I use it 2-3 times a week after my Clarisonic (more on this soon) - usually in the evening. It really helps prep my skin for everything else and I've noticed a big difference in preventing my skin from being congested - huge bonus! And FYI - COSMEDIX is one of those brands where every product is consistently good. I've used them for years and have no intention of stopping...
FIGHTS: Anti-aging/ Acne / Congested Skin
BOOSTS: Skin texture / Effectiveness of all products used after / Smoothness
