WHAT IT IS: When you find a product that is simple and yet works on so many levels, it's like discovering a goldmine. My latest treasure comes from Biossance, a company that focuses on using science to harness our own biological beauty. What does this mean exactly? Well in terms of their Revitalizer, it meant producing a 100% plant-derived Squalane, a hydrating, natural oil that is essentially, the best biological moisturizer you could possibly ask for.

Up until around our 20's, our bodies actually produce our own Squalane, which is part of the reason why our skin is so radiant when we are younger. But somewhere around our 20's our bodies start to decline in Squalane production, which is exactly why finding a plant-based source for this essential beauty breakthrough is a HUGE beauty breakthrough!

HOW I USE IT: The most straightforward way to use the Revitalizer is to apply it to your face like you would your regular moisturizer. However, because I tend to get a little extra dry around the eyes, I also love to apply it around my eyes, let it sit for a moment, and then apply my regular eye cream over it, which I find gets great results. I also like to apply a few drops to my body moisturizer so I can get the full effect from head to to!

And while I love hair oils, they tend to make me break out. So I've started using just a few drops of the Revitalizer instead, and not only does it not make me break out whatsoever (it's perfect for all skin types), but it leaves my hair soft and shiny!

COME MEET ME: If you are in the Bay Area this coming Sunday (12/20), I'm hosting a fun beauty fete for Biossance with Jessica Ricks from Hapatime, and would love for you to stop by! The event will be at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton - look for us between the Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Changs - there will be a video truck, samples, plenty of goodies, and a photo booth among other things! I'll be there from 2-4 and would love to meet you in person!

Hopefully I will see you very soon!
