TREASURE ISLAND

Every since Instagram hit, summer FOMO in San Francisco has gotten real. Best cure for this? Going pretty much anywhere else but the city. And when an expedition to Urban Ore in Berkley (renovate your wife's bathroom, and she will love you for life) was interrupted by a detour to Treasure Island, any lingering FOMO was instantly shed.

Treasure Island is like its own little world. Ok yea, so there's that whole radiation thing, but there's also this incredible peacefulness. Not to mention a spectacular view of all sides of the Bay. We even stumbled across a random Barbecue School that is apparently headquartered in the heart of the island. While I don't exactly eat BBQ, I can definitely still appreciate the idea of a full class dedicated to such an act of leisure. Treasure Island, we'll be back soon.
